In the second week of construction in Haiti, work began on a new, expanded Emergency Room that included five beds, a scrub room, a new operating room, a two-bed recovery room with a nurse’s desk and a lot of storage. The operating room will be fully equipped by the time the next LEAP Haiti mission team travels in early November.
